4 stars! Richly impressive... Almost beyond praise: : Christopher Wheeldon's take on Lewis Carroll is a dazzling extravaganza"
The Telegraph

This summer holidays, follow Alice down the rabbit hole in Christopher Wheeldon’s thrillingly entertaining ballet. Alice (Sarah Lamb) encounters a cast of extraordinary characters, from the highly-strung Queen of Hearts, who performs a hilarious send-up of The Sleeping Beauty's famous Rose Adage, to dancing playing cards, a tetchy white rabbit and a tap-dancing Mad Hatter. Wheeldon’s choreography is marvellously amplified by the pace and colour of Talbot’s score, and the ingenious mix of high and low-tech stage magic in Crowley’s designs which look stunning on the cinema screen.

Please note programme change: due to injury, Sarah Lamb replaces the originally billed Lauren Cuthbertson as ‘Alice’ in the ROH cinema production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland this Season. Read more about Royal Ballet Principal Dancer Sarah Lamb here.
