Utterly delightful! Dressed to delight and engineered to enchant, this jettisons the more nightmarish elements of ETA Hoffmann's story and delivers a sackful of visual gifts. Tchaikovsky's extraordinary score receives a warm and expressive reading.
Neil Norman, The Stage

A Royal Ballet family treat, danced to Tchaikovsky’s glittering score. Follow Clara (Francesca Hayward), a young girl who is led on an adventure to the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of the Sweets. Peter Wright’s enchanting staging retains exquisite surviving fragments of the original Ivanov choreography, including the beautiful pas de deux for the Sugar Plum Fairy (Lauren Cuthbertson) and her Cavalier (Nehemiah Kish).

Please note programme change: Due to injury, Nehemiah Kish has replaced the originally billed Matthew Golding in the role of Cavalier.
