Stellar! Lucky us — who have been given the gift of the chance to bask again, or for the first time, in Wright's splendid version of a seasonal perennial.
    Donald Hutera, THE TIMES
Breathtaking. It’s impossible not to fall for the beauty and magic of this epic staging.

Ballet in two acts (1892)

Special screening times apply, including sessions at 6.30pm Xmas Eve (Fri 24 Dec) at all venues!

Discover the enchantment of ballet with this sparkling festive treat for the whole family. Tchaikovsky’s much-loved music is matched to a story of magic on Christmas Eve, and the journey of Clara (Isabella Gasparini) and her Nutcracker (Luca Acri) to the Land of Sweets brings with it some of the most familiar of all ballet moments.

Peter Wright’s gorgeous production for The Royal Ballet keeps true to the spirit of this Russian ballet classic, and the many solo roles and ensembles show the world-class skills of the Company at its best.
