New Production! The world premiere of Royal Ballet Artist in Residence Liam Scarlett’s new full-length ballet, inspired by Mary Shelley’s gothic masterpiece, a story of love, fear, loneliness and longing. Scarlett (known for ballets that marry highly expressive movement, sophisticated musical response and dark psychological depth) has returned to the music of Lowell Liebermann (his partner on Viscera), commissioning a new score.

Starring Principal dancers Laura Morera, Federico Bonelli and Australia’s-own Steven McRae as 'The Creature', the narrative explores our craving for companionship, understanding and the possibilities and responsibilities of scientific discovery.
