La Scala étoile Roberto Bolle and special guest artist Misty Copeland of the American Ballet Theatre, dance together for the first time.

Kenneth MacMillan's classic, set to the immortal notes of Prokofiev, has been in La Scala’s repertoire for many years now, and has seen some unforgettable and passionate performers alternating the roles. MacMillan deals with the matter paying great attention to human relations, lyricism and psychological tension, without neglecting moments of humour, through the dynamics and the emotions of ballet d’action. The specialist in the romantic repertoire Patrick Fournillier, will grace the La Scala podium.

Screening at all locations, excl. State & Riverside.

Please note: this production replaces the originally billed Coppélia, which was withdrawn from the La Scala programme.
